authenticator app User Guide

The authenticator app verification code is generated by a third-party dynamic password tool, working similarly to SMS dynamic authentication. After binding, a dynamic verification code is generated every 30 seconds. The code can be used for security authentication during login, withdrawals, modification of security settings, and other operations.

1. How do I download an authenticator app?

You can search for "Google Authentication" in your mobile app store to download and install it.

Note: The Apple version requires an overseas ID to download.

The platform has upgraded its security authentication measures, expanding the previous Google authentication feature to support multiple authenticator apps. We now support various authenticator apps, including Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, and more. You can choose and install the application that best suits your needs.

2. How do I link an authenticator app?

App side: Tap the nine dots in the upper left corner of the APP Home to enter the function settings page, tap the upper left Personal Center to enter the Security Center, tap [Authenticator App], and follow the instructions to complete the binding of the authenticator app. For more details, click: Bind Authenticator App (App/Web)

Web: On the OKX official website, click the personal center at the top right of the page to enter the security center page. Friendly reminder: When adding an account in the authenticator app, you can customize the "account" field. For example, you can use "Login Account" or "Trading Platform + account" as the name.

3. How to use an authenticator app?

Open the authenticator app, find the corresponding verification code and copy it, then go to the login/withdrawal or other pages that require the authenticator app code, and paste it for use.

4. How do I change the authenticator app?
