📅Key dates:
October 30 - November 1: On-ground hacking at the Hackmos Lounge during Cosmoverse, in Split Croatia.
November 1: Final submission deadline 11 am local time & in-person project presentations in Split.
Top Hackmos projects and Winners will be announced on the Cosmoverse Main Stage on November 1st at 5.30pm, with a chance for select teams to present to the audience.
Mid-February, 2026: Hackmos Pitch Day with investors around ETH Denver.
You can participate in three areas with @get_optimum:
1⃣ Protocol Experiments Track
Run controlled experiments comparing GossipSub vs mump2p under different conditions (latency, bandwidth, reliability). The goal is to empirically prove where mump2p is superior.
2⃣ Scaling & Stress Test Track
Push the network to its limits by varying message sizes, shard factors, thresholds, mesh density, and load until you find breakpoints. Document what conditions mump2p keeps working while GossipSub fails.
3⃣ Visualization & Insights Track
Not everyone codes: collect logs, metrics, and traces from running experiments and turn them into dashboards, charts, and explainers. Help make mump2p results easy to understand by validators, researchers, and developers.
